If the name of the article is supposed to be Latin, shouldn't it be "Ioannes" instead of "Johannes"? Ausir 23:36, 22 April 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ioannes, Iohannes, and Johannes are all acceptable orthographies of that name in Latin. If the Holy See does indeed show a preference, we should stick to that. --Iustinus 20:20, 28 April 2005 (UTC)[reply]
