Talk:Chelifer cancroides

Chelifer cancroides? Are they some type of bed bug or are they just bugs?? where would they come from? this is the second crab like bug that i found in my house.. the first time was under my bed and box spring and it looked lighter then the second one i found climbing in the bath-tub. im a little worried for my family's sake if anyone knows what they are please let me know teamwolf909@hotmail.ca thanks

Tiny "pseudoscorpions" like Chelifer cancroides are absolutely harmless to humans! They are even useful by eating dust mites, booklice, etc.! Pseudoscorpions are not "bugs" or other insects; they are distantly related to spiders (see: [1]). -- Fice (talk) 20:15, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
