English: Routemaster bus RML2406 (reg. JJD 406D) was delivered to London Transport in January 1966. As with all RML buses, in the early 1990s it was re-engined (Cummins) and refurbished. It saw continual use in London into the privatisation era, passing in 1994 into the fleet of Cowie Leaside (which later became Arriva London North). It was finally withdrawn from service when London Buses route 38 lost its Routemasters in October 2005. In the December it was sold to dealer Ensignbus, and in April 2006 it passed to a private buyer. In the next years it was private hire use with Countryliner and then Omnibuzz, both of Guildford. In April 2009 it was bought by a Bristol based company, who converted it for use as a catering bus, with a kitchen downstairs & tables upstairs, named The Tea Stop.
