English: Routemaster RMF2771 (ex-RMR2, RMF2771, 3085, 2101) "Beatrix" (reg. EYY 776B, ex-65346, ex-RCN 701) is one of the Northern Routemasters (RMFs). It was delivered to the company in April 1964 as No. 2101 (RCN 701). In January 1975, as part of a fleet wide renumbering, the RMFs became 3069-3118 and 3129 (the prototype), thus 2101 became 3085. By 1975, along with the rest of the Northern fleet it was repainted into the standard poppy red livery of the National Bus Company, with NBC style white fleetnames. Withdrawal of the RMFs began in 1977 and had been completed by the end of 1980, 2101 being withdrawn during 1980. It was one of the 16 that were bought by London Transport, gaining the internal fleetnumber RMF2771, although like most of the batch, it was not deemed viable to put them into service on London routes. Instead, in July 1981 it was sold on, and subsequently passed through a variety of other owners, the first one renumbering it as RMR2 and converting it into a hospitality/catering bus. By January 1994 it had been converted back into a public transport bus. By July 2005 it had been exported to Guernsey, being re-registered 65346, and gaining the livery of the 'Barbados Party Bus'. In June 2006 it was re-registered with the UK plate EYY 776B, while remaining on the island. In March 2008 it was imported back into the UK, regaining its RMF2771 number, being sold on again two months later. In July 2012 it was purchased by http://www.japanorbust.org.uk/, with the intention of refurbishing it for a journey from London to Japan, departing in 2017.
