This is an illustrated history of fully detailed kits worn by Rangers F.C..

The Glaswegian club play in their traditional attire of blue shirts, white shorts and red-topped black socks which has been, with a few exceptions here and then, a consistent theme since 1883. The first kits worn at the club's foundation in 1872 consisted of thin blue and white hoops. [1]

They are currently supplied by Castore, a Liverpudlian fashion brand making their first foray into the football kit market, in a 5-year contract from 2020. Previous suppliers have included adidas and Nike throughout the 1990s, Diadora and Umbro during the noughties, Puma during the club's years in the lower Scottish divisions, and a brief contact with Hummel from 2018.

The change kits have generally been designed from an established palette of white, red and black in varying combinations. Their third kits have often featured more experimental design choices, with different shades of blues and purples making appearances, and even orange - a politically sensitive colour due to its connections with the Orange Order and the sectarian background of the Old Firm clubs.
