Raffles Institution is the premier secondary school in Singapore. RI consists of a boys-only secondary section (known as "Raffles Institution (Year 1-4)"), and a coeducational pre-university section (known as "Raffles Institution (Year 5-6)". It is also Singapore's oldest school, being founded in 1823 by Sir Stamford Raffles. It is widely recognised as one of the top educational institutions in the world.
