  • 173 & 174 (G640/3 CHF) - bought second hand. They were new as buses (H49/39F) to North Western (640/3) in 11/1989

175 & 176

  • 175 & 176 (B175/6 VDV) were bought new in Oct/Nov 1984, as coach seaters (CH43/35F) for use in private hire, but also capable of route service if needed. They were named Ark Royal & Invincible respectively, after the aircraft carriers. In 1991 they were replaced by 177/8 and were converted to buses. They were withdrawn in 2010, with both preserved (176 on 22 Jul 2011 from PCB, 175 on 26 Oct 2012 from a 2nd owner).

  • 177 & 178 (H177/8 GTT) were bought new in July 1991, as coach seaters (CH48/30F), to replace 175/6. 178 was withdrawn on 24 Jul 2013, being preserved on 16 Sep 2013.
