English: Paper Marbling is a technique for producing colorful patterns on paper (or other surfaces such as fabric, the edges of books) by floating on water or "size"; a mucilage made from various plants. The resulting marbled paper is a popular decorative material, especially as endpapers in book binding and stationery.
