New Routemaster: Exterior offside profile

The front staircase is in the offside, also traced by the glazing, allowing light in down its full length. The fuel tank is under the front stair case. Both the engine and traction motor are on the offside, as shown by the vents - the larger one cooling the engine mounted under the staircase, the smaller one cooling the motor, mounted under the back to back seats. A diagonal propshaft connects the motor directly to the rear differential.
