A meetinghouse is the term used by the LDS Church for the building where local congregations meet for weekly worship services.[1] A meetinghouse differs from a temple, which is a building dedicated to be a House of The Lord and is reserved for special forms of worship.

[edit]The Wanchai Meetinghouse is a 12-story building, belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), located on Gloucester Road in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. In addition to serving as a meetinghouse for 12 wards in 3 stakes, it also serves as the administration headquarters for the LDS Church in the Asia Area. It was built as a replacement for the Kom Tong Hall building, which previously served in a similar capacity.
