Please fix the Edit summary link

When editing a page the link above the edit summary that is defined in this page links to meta:Special:MyLanguage/Help:Edit summary but that page is now a redirect. Please change that link to where the page was moved to, mw:Special:MyLanguage/Help:Edit summary. Links to redirects should be avoided in general but it's also a problem if one has enabled to see redirect pages. It seems like that page is not redirect anyway and only has the note "This page has been moved to Help:Edit summary on mediawiki.org.". Prototyperspective (talk) 14:40, 5 November 2024 (UTC)

- Isn't the general rule that if an internal link can be made, this should be done?

I think the general uncodified rule would be to link pages that are of good length and quality and it's unclear in other cases. I think this such a case. I think the best solution would be to quickly improve that page and then link it. Alternatively, just link the mw page until this page is improved. It's good to keep things short but that doesn't mean below the short content there can't be more info. Prototyperspective (talk) 22:15, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
