Lothian Buses: Park & Ride branding
Jump to navigation

English: Buses operated by Lothian Buses with special Park & Ride livery & branding, based on the Harlequin livery, to highlight buses serving the Edinburgh Park & Ride network. Buses first operated with a major green based branding, but this was later downgraded to minor branding scheme. This has since been eliminated following the transition to Classic livery.
Major branding
[edit]Dart SLF / Pointer
[edit]Several of the V-registered examples of the Dennis Dart SLF / Plaxton Pointer fleet received the green livery.
Trident / President
[edit]Five buses from the V-registered Dennis Trident / Plaxton President fleet, No.s 541-545, received the green livery (having previously worn both airport livery and later a variety of other Harlequin-based brandings).

Minor branding (Trident / President)
[edit]The major green branding was later replaced by a less pronounced scheme, applied to ten buses of the 04-registered Dennis Trident / Plaxton President fleet, No.s 691-700 (having previously worn route 36 branding, and some later plain Harlequin livery). This scheme involved large 'Park&Ride' logos on the front, back and sides, as well as a green band underneath the upper deck windows.
