Hentaigana

"Hentaigana" (変体仮名) is hiragana which is not listed as hiragana in Elementary school law (1900). Note that "hentai" in this word is spelled as 変体 (which means variant form, or irregular form), unlike 変態 (which means abnormal, or pervert).
