Hip fracture

In December 2004, I broke my femur as my hip hit a wood floor at the base of a flight of stairs. The images here show the orthopedic device which was inserted to hold the bone in place, and subsequently removed in May 2006.

I didn't have anything sophisticated with which to scan these x-rays; I put them in front of a white computer monitor, in a dark room, and took photographs with a 5.2 megapixel HP Photosmart M415 camera.
