While [[File:Alice in Wonderland.djvu|thumb|200px|Alice in Wonderland, page 9|page=9]] works perfectly well on de.wikipedia, linking to that page via [[:File:Alice in Wonderland.djvu|thumb|200px|Alice in Wonderland, page 9|page=9]] doesn't work at all. It doesn't work on Commons either, this is the result: thumb|200px|Alice in Wonderland, page 9|page=9 Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? --AndreasPraefcke (talk) 13:05, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your second example is a link to the file. The second argument expected is the text for the link so it used everything after the pipe (|) as the text for the link. It's not a bug, but it it definitely annoying to not be able to wikilink directly to DJVU pages. The Haz talk 01:17, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

How to delete a single page in DjVu?

[edit]

Most of the tools listed here are viewer/reader only. I tried DjVu Solo and it worked for some files, but it failed to open File:Dictionnaire_javanais-francais.djvu (cannot decode DjVu files with version >= 25, and This DjVu Solo is too old to read this file. Please upgrade. but there hasn't been an upgrade since version 3.1 ...). I googled some, but can't find what I'm looking for either. Bennylin (yes?) 19:22, 5 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, the Cuminas' DjVu Editor able to edit the aforementioned file. Bennylin (yes?) 17:12, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Display a different default page?

[edit]

Many DjVu here are used for book scans, e.g. File:Cassier's Magazine Volume XV.djvu. The first page is often a blank cover page, with the title a few pages in. Is there any way to set the default display to be page 5, rather than page 1 ? Thanks, Andy Dingley (talk) 13:08, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
