[edit]- Comment Please add Phabricator as a source, the creator of it, the licnese it's interface is under, if that pfofile pic is the same license, if Phabricator is tademarked etc. Josve05a (talk) 06:30, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
- @Josve05a: just to be sure, this screencast has been produced by EpicDavi as part of mw:Google Code-in 2014. That avatar is a picture of himself, uploaded by himself, not part of the Phabricator software. Phabricator itself is open source, but this should not affect the license of the screencast, right? Please clarify, we want to do things right here in Commons. Thank you for your work!--Qgil-WMF (talk) 19:48, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
- @Qgil-WMF: Something like that... Josve05a (talk) 21:40, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
- It would really be much better if the video could be relisensed to cc-by-sa 3.0 instead of 4.0...Josve05a (talk) 21:43, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
- Alright, thank you very much. I will make sure we use consistent templates across the rest of Phabricator screencasts expected to be uploaded in the context of Google Code-in. What is the advantage of 3.0? The students are just selecting the default (as I do myself).--Qgil-WMF (talk) 22:09, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
- Since, what I know, the text on Phabricator is licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0 there could be problems realizing them in this video under CC-BY-SA 4.0, since they are not compatible with eachother. cc enWP (Those who realease information under 3.0 did not agree to release them under 4.0) Josve05a (talk) 22:37, 6 December 2014 (UTC)

So much license. Such wow.
@Qgil-WMF: Main difference I beleive is:
- 3.0 = If you fail to attribute, it is an immediate violation.
- 4.0 = You get up to x(21?) days to fix it before the license becomes invalid if you violate the license.
