Error

en:User:HyperbolicNebula at en:Talk:Nannerl Notenbuch#Uploading the MIDI Files noticed that there was an error in the right hand of bar 1 in this file. I downloaded the original file and corrected that error. It sounded correct on my computer. Howver, when uploaded and played frrom Commons, it sounded horrible. So I did it again, with a different output option, MIDI-0, in the MIDI editor. Same result. However, I failed to correct the original error in the piece's repeat. Then I recreated the MIDI file from scratch and uploaded it. That result was worse than before – Commons played in too slow with wrong notes and with an echo. I played all versions from the file history section and the 3rd sounded correct now, so I reverted to it. However, playing it from the top file icon and from the history, it's wrong. But all the 49 second versions, except the 5th, sound correct when played from the file history. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 14:04, 26 January 2020 (UTC)

I uploaded the file to https://drive.google.com/open?id=17mtDXq6VN__SxTigpcFUN0DDi8UWoPd9 to see whether a transfer to Commons from a URL would fix the problem. Commons doesn't allow uploads from that domain. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 04:39, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
