Correct pronunciation of Nevada
[edit]For the record, this is the incorrect pronunciation of Nevada, and is a touchy subject for locals. For some evidence of the correct pronunciation see:

- By "incorrect" you mean that locals do not favor this pronunciation. Words in the English language can have locally "correct" pronunciations that differ from those in other regions. "Nevada", like Louisiana and Georgia, is often pronounced differently by locals than by people in other regions. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:31, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
