Whatever that "ogg" file is, I am willing to wager less than 1 in 20 people will figure out how to open it. - R. Marshall

Sorry about that, but it's one of the few free sound files. See Commons:Media help for tips. pfctdayelise (translate?) 16:21, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
:-p I also got problems (WinXP Pro, Winamp and Windows Media Player 9). Oh, and Linux doesn't play, too. HardDisk 20:24, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FLAC is requested by Wikimedia for lossless audio. I know OGGs are odd for a Windows user, try out if you're able to play a Theora video not using Linux, I wasn't. Despite this, the file does actually have problem, but I can't manage to fix it. At the moment you can follow a link on the Teen Buzz page to hear it (if you can!) Sorry Aelwyn 06:30, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, it hasn't. Aelwyn 08:21, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Every other media/ogg file on Wikipedia has worked perfectly for me. This one will not work at all. It won't open, due to an error. I want to hear it, and I can't find anywhere on the internet to hear (or not hear) sound. 72.241.22.68 21:50, 30 April 2007 (UTC) (NOTE: I am "User:hmwith" on Wikipedia)[reply]
For other who can't hear it, I found a link to hear it here. 72.241.22.68 21:53, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just would like to point out that the file is actually a FLAC file, not OGG. Players that identify files via extension won't play it (like WinAMP). Change the extension to .flac and it should play fine. This should be renamed to have the proper extension. -Krellion 15:15, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I confirm that that file won't work on most (Windoze) players unless the extension is changed to .flac. Uploading files with that extension is not allowed on Commons, it's not my fault, sorry. Changing it is very easy, by the way. In any case, remember that most normal loudspeakers (maybe soundcards?) cannot play the file properly because the frquency is too high! VLC

That .ogg file opens with VLC Media player.
