In Autumn 2016, twenty-eight Translation MSc students at the University of Edinburgh selected a 4000 word Wikipedia article in one language and translated it into a different language Wikipedia as part of their Independent Study module. Emilie Kiermeir, Raghad Alhabyan and Han Yu, took part in the assignment and agreed to be interviewed in January 2017 about their experience working with Wikipedia and getting published translation practice.
