Description
English: "In Indonesia, there are hundreds of languages, and dozens of Wikimedia projects. 17 projects were created from 2002 to 2006, three more in 2009-2013, and the last 10+ projects were created in the past 5 years.

In 2023 alone, we are expecting to welcome 7+ new projects, from 7+ languages in Indonesia: Gorontalo Wiktionary, Mandailing Wiktionary, Banjar Wikiquote, Sundanese Wikisource, Indonesian Wikivoyage, Nias Wikibooks, Makassarese Wikipedia, and Toba Wikipedia.

Since 2018, I was involved in several of the Indonesian local languages projects that were hatched, like Gorontalo Wikipedia, Minangkabau Wiktionary, Nias Wiktionary, Javanese Wikisource, and Gorontalo Wiktionary. From those experience, I felt the need for a better resource center for communities who wished to start a new project, particularly if it would be the first Wikimedia project for those communities.

I envision a central place where people can get ideas how to start their own Main Page, what templates/modules should be present, what kind of administrative pages and tasks are needed to start a new project, ideas for early contents (1000 most important Wikipedia articles, 1000 most important words, etc.) to populate the project, and even if there is a need for a special class for the first batch of admins in those projects."
