Description
Deutsch: WikiCon 2023 - 2045 – Wie Wikipedia in Zeiten von KI überleben kann. Bis 2045 haben wir heute Halbzeit in der Wikipedia. Wenn sich die Enzyklopädie in der zweiten Halbzeit so entwickelt wie in der ersten, wird es 2045 wohl nur noch wenig gestrige geben, die die Enzyklopdie aufsuchen - und fast keinen mehr, der die Wikipedia bearbeitet. Kurzum: Die Wikipedia wäre tot; ersetzt durch einen kommerziellen Anbieter, der über eine KI das Monopol auf das Wissen der Menschheit hat.

Doch was kann getan werden, um dieses Szenario zu vermeiden? Wie muss sich die Wikipedia entwickeln, um den Autorenschwund umzukehren? Kann Wikipedia auch von KI profitieren? Wie kann die Qualität und Attraktivität von Wikipedia verbessert werden, dass die Seite trotz KnowledgeGPT aufgesucht wird?

Diesen Fragen soll in einem Kurzvortrag und einer anschließenden Diskussionsrunde nachgegangen werden.
