Deutsch: Schwämme und Lappen bestehen aus Fasern. In den Fasern sind viele kleine Kapillaren, also enge Röhrchen. Darin steigt die Flüssigkeit nach oben. Ob das gelingt, hängt vor allem von zwei Kräften ab, die auf die Flüssigkeit wirken.
English: Sponges and rags are made of fibres. In the fibres are many small capillaries - narrow tubes. The liquid rises upwards in them. Whether it succeeds depends mainly on two forces that act on the liquid. |
