Summary

English: The view north across the large outdoor vehicle parking area of the 2008 built West Ham bus garage, pictured during an open house event. This view shows three of the four arches which make up the garage, with the fourth partially visible on the left. The two outer arches are for undercover vehicle storage, the two inner arches house workshops/inspection pits. The largest bus garage in London, it has about 250 buses based there working on routes in East London operated by the East London Bus & Coach Company (the operator leases the garage, the building itself being owned by Transport for London). The normally busy parking areas has been cleared of all buses except a parade line up of the various types housed in the garage. |
