English: Waymark, Carn Daimh Waymark, marking the Speyside Way on one of its more ambitious forays away from tarmac and forestry. View towards Ben Rinnes from the summit of Carn Daimh.
There is little tradition of waymarking upland routes in Scotland, as it almost always leads to horrendous erosion. This is safe however as the route is on a preexisting track on stable quartzite pebbles in an area of low rainfall. |
