English: Footage in color of Wallis island (Polynesia) shot in 1943 by the US Navy. The video features an outrigger canoe, aerial view of Wallis island, its lagoon and the islets, a view of the interior of the island (church, air strips, roads, lakes...) and ends with a wallisian dance called faka Niutao[1].

Français : Vidéo en couleurs prise en 1943 par la marine américaine de l'île de Wallis (Polynésie). On y voit une pirogue à balancier, une vue aérienne de l'île, son lagon et les différents îlots, puis la un survol de l'île montrant des églises, les routes et pistes d’atterrissage construits par l'armée américaine, les lacs de Wallis. La vidéo se termine sur une dance wallisienne appelée faka Niutao[2].
