Deutsch: Dieses Video zeigt ein Wa-Tor-Beispiel, eine Jäger-Gejagte-Simulation (Jäger: Haie; Gejagte bzw. Beute: Fische).
English: This video shows a Wa-Tor example, a hunter-hunted simulation (hunter: sharks; hunted or prey: fish). Here, fish are hunted by sharks. They are symbolized by colored pixels. Fish are shown in green, the ocean in black, "healthy" (fed) sharks in red, "standard" sharks in gray, and starving sharks in white. Typically, predator and prey each self-regulate. Thus, if there is an abundance of sharks, there will soon be fewer fish. With fewer fish, hunters die off. Fewer hunters allow for a recovering population of fish. The simulation was created with Visions of Chaos 99.9. This video shows a graph with the proportion of sharks and fish. This simulation ends with the extinction of the fish. |
