Description
English: The sound of pressing.

The SH1 25/30MN forging press is fitted with three hydraulic cylinders and a moving cross beam to which the tooling is attached. It is a twin column hydraulic forging press. During the forging process, the press force is adapted to the type and quality of material being forged.
The press is used for forging mainly octagonal and polygonal ingots, as well as some square and round (ESR ingots). Ingots of all types of steel weigh from 2,000kg to the largest at 24,000kg. They are used in the production of round, square and flat bars of various dimensions, various cylinders, discs, rings and bushes.

Metal Ravne is the legal successor to Železarna Ravne. The company's range includes a steel plant programme, which starts the production of all their rolled and forged products. Due to technological modernisation over recent years, the company has all the most important machinery for the production of high-quality steel, including a 45t UHP electric arc furnace, a vacuum ladle furnace and a state-of-the-art ‘teeming pit’ for high-class conventional ingots. Their range of products includes ingots, billets with rounded edges and wide flats, with round, flat and square sections, forged bars, machined forgings, discs, bushes, etc.
