Description
English: 3D visualization and virtual immersion inside of the invaginated scolex. Z sequences of LCSM images as presented in figures 2G and 2H were computationally processed as indicated for figure 4 and movies S2 and S3. During the trip of the virtual immersion, from low to high magnifications and after performing approximations to FC, it is possible to distinguish how the ciliated cells are immersed in the interstitial matrix and how is visualized the topography of the reconstructed cytoskeletal components of the FC and the matrix (MPEG 6.67 MB).
