Català: Coincidint amb la celebració del dia internacional dels museus, la Fundació Folch i Torres i Amical Wikimedia han organitzat una Viquimarató per introduïr Joaquim Folch i Torres a la Viquipèdia.
Joaquim Folch i Torres és el principal impulsor dels museus d'art de Barcelona. Ara el museòleg ja té una entrada a l'enciclopèdia lliure més reconeguda de la xarxa. La Viquimarató s'ha dut a terme amb l'obejectiu de corregir, millorar i ampliar els articles dedicats al museòleg i a la seva obra. Gran part de la informació original ha estat aportada per les comissàries del cinquantenari de la mort de Joaquim Folch i Torres, que s'ha celebrat l'any 2013 amb el suport de la Generalitat de Catalunya. Joaquim Folch i Torres va ser historiador, crític d'art i museòleg. Un pioner que va salvaguardar el patrimoni artístic de Catalunya, va fer-ne divulgació i va acostar la institució del museu a la societat civil. Sense ell, probablement a dia d'avui no tindríem el Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya ni moltes de les col·leccions que el configuren. Un home tenaç, intel·ligent i compromès amb el seu temps i el seu país. Algú a qui Catalunya deu molt, i amb qui la memòria històrica ha estat profundament injusta. Durant la dictadura franquista va haver de pagar el seu compromís amb Catalunya. Els judicis militars als quals se'l va sotmetre el van esborrar del mapa, i no seria fins la transició que els museus que va contribuir a crear tornarien a prendre forma. L'any 2013, quan es van celebrar 50 anys de la seva mort, s'han impulsat actes per tal que es reconegui el valuós llegat i la figura de Joaquim Folch i Torres.
