English: View SW from the Burton Hills. Looking across the adjacent squares towards the escarpment of Edge Hill and the spot at which King Charles I raised his banner for the battle that was to be the start of the English Civil War. Concealed in the trees towards the right of the view is 55239. The M40 runs through the cutting at the bottom of the picture and in the middle of the picture, just by the furrowed fields is 158520. |
