Description
Deutsch: Viereckschanze im Süden der Aubinger Lohe (Bodendenkmal D-1-7834-0044, d:Q98334127).
Es gibt in der Aubinger Lohe – etwas weiter nördlich gelegen – noch eine weitere Viereckschanze (Bodendenkmal D-1-7834-0045, d:Q98334027).
Vor Ort sind die Erdwälle besser zu erkennen als auf den Fotos.
Besucher finden die Schanze am besten von Südosten her: in der Nähe des Bahnübergangs nordwärts in den Wald hinein, bald danach links (westwärts) abzweigen und dem Weg in Sichtweite des Waldrandes folgen. Die Schanze liegt auf der rechten (nördlichen) Seite des Weges.
Der auf manchen Landkarten eingezeichnete Weg von Norden ist schwer auffindbar und/oder endet weglos im Bodendenkmal Trichtergrubenfeld.
