Description
English: Victoria Monument The Queen Victoria Monument, situated on the corner of Lord Street and Castle Street, stands on the site once occupied by the Liverpool Castle. The Castle was demolished in 1725 and replaced by St George’s Church. The church was subsequently demolished in 1889.
