Description
Svenska: Stort lerkärl från Chancaykulturen som mellan ca 1000-1450 e.v.t utvecklades i de centrala delarna av Perus kustlandskap innan den kom att införlivas i Inkariket under dess expansion. Ofta har de en hals som har formen av ett människoansikte. Utmärkande är också stora öppna munnar och ögon som framhävdes tydligt, likaså var det vanligt med händer hållandes en ceremoniell skål placerad på urnans buk. Figuren har stora örontrissor (ear spools) men den ena saknas.
English: Large Chancay culture pottery jar. It has enormous ear spools but one is missing.
