| Description |
English: Verwood: sunset at Stephens Castle This was the first that eastern Dorset saw of the sun today five minutes before dusk! But the appearance, while very brief, was spectacular: the large red disc slithered down from behind the cloud whose straight edge we see immediately above it; a few minutes later it would disappear for good below a similar line just below.
We are looking out from the Stephen's Castle nature reserve, the prominent figure on the right being Horton Tower in SU0306 some four or five miles away. |
