Nederlands: Op 22 maart 2016 oefende het Korps Commandotroepen van de Koninklijke Landmacht in een schiethuis van de Politieacademie in Ossendrecht. Tijdens de oefening schoten de cursisten met scherp en werd een instructeur in opleiding dodelijk getroffen. Ondanks de bestaande veiligheidsvoorschriften is de leiding van Defensie niet op professionele wijze omgegaan met de veiligheid van het eigen personeel. Diverse veiligheidsbarrières hebben niet gefunctioneerd, waardoor de schietoefening een fatale afloop kreeg.
