VIEW LOOKING SOUTH AT THE NORTH ELEVATION OF THE MILL. NOTE THE INCLINED TRESTLE WITH ORE CAR TRACKS ALSO NOTE THE SWITCH IN THE TRACKS TOWARDS THE BOTTOM OF THE TRESTLE. THE SLENDER TOWER TOWARDS THE CENTER OF THE IMAGE WAS A 1904-05 ADDITION THAT HOUSED FRENIER PUMPS THAT WERE USED TO LIFT THE TAILINGS TO THE PIPE AND TRESTLE THAT LEAD TO THE CYANIDE PROCESSING PLANT. THE SHED ROOFED SECTION THAT IS THE FORWARD MOST SECTION OF THE NORTH ELEVATION HOUSED AMALGAMATING PANS. THE RETORT AND SMELTER BUILDINGS ARE IN THE FAR RIGHT BACKGROUND. - Standard Gold Mill, East of Bodie Creek, Northeast of Bodie, Bodie, Mono County, CA
