  • Significance: The South Puyallup River Bridge is characteristic of the "rustic style" of architecture employed by the National Park Service in the 1920s and 1930s. A facing of rubble masonry conceals the structure's reinforced concrete barrel vault, helping the structure blend into its rugged surroundings.
