Porträt Caroline Auguste Elenore Sulzer (1786-1834), geb. von Thümen, geschiedene von Ehrenberg, zweite Frau des Ronneburger Arztes und Naturforschers Friedrich Gabriel Sulzers. Sulzer ist als Öllampe mit Porträtkopf dargestellt. Neben dem Titel "Mad. Sulzer" und einem Vers unter dem Bild, ist der linke Rand der Zeichnung mit einem großen und einem kleinen "N" versehen. - nachträglich mit einem Kreuz hinter Titel/Namen versehen [Bildunterschrift] Die Nacht Lamp hat ein'n düstren Schein/ Viel heller thut die Sulzer seyn.Biografisches Caroline Auguste Elenore (1786–1834), geborene von Thümen, geschiedene von Ehrenberg, war die zweite Frau des Ronneburger Brunnenarztes Friedrich Gabriel Sulzer (1749–1830). Die Hochzeit fand 1815 in Ronneburg statt. Sulzers erste Frau Johanna Dorothea Gerstenberg (1755–1812) war verstorben. Nach Friedrich Gabriel Sulzers Tod wurde seine Witwe erste Erzieherin von Ernst und Moritz, den beiden Söhne des Prinzen Georg, des späteren Herzogs Georg von Sachsen–Altenburg.
