Porträt Louise von Seignoret de Villiers, Pflegetochter der Herzogin Johanna von Acerenza-Pignatelli. Louise ist als Eichhörnchen mit Porträtkopf dargestellt. Neben dem Titel "Louise v. Seignoret" und einem Vers unter dem Bild, ist der linke Rand der Zeichnung mit einem großen und einem kleinen "E" versehen. - nachträglich mit einem Kreuz hinter Titel/Namen versehen [Bildunterschrift] Die Eichkatz spielet mit dem Raedchen/ Louise ist ein wildes Maedchen.Biografisches Louise von Seignoret de Villiers, Pflegetochter der Herzogin Johanna von Acerenza-Pignatelli, war die Tochter eines französischen Edelmannes und einer Engländerin. Als Begleiterin Johannas hielt sich Louise, beschrieben als stürmisches Mädchen mit roten Locken, oft in Löbichau auf. Anselm Feuerbach (1798–1851) notierte im Sommer 1820 voller Bewunderung in seinem Tagebuch: „Louise ist eine fertige Klavierspielerin und, was mehr ist, sie hat ihre Seele in den Fingern.“ (1) Am Musenhof der Herzogin von Kurland lernte Louise von Seignoret de Villiers auch Fritz von Piattoli, Pflegesohn der Familie Parthey, kennen, den sie 1829 heiratete. Die junge Dame, die für ihre „durchdringende Beobachtungsgabe“ und die daraus resultierenden „scharfen Aeußerungen […], die indessen niemals verletzten“ bekannt war, nahm sich Piattolis an. Dieses „Verhältnis gegenseitiger Zuneigung“ führte schließlich zu einem „dauernden Lebensbündnis“. (2) Genaue Daten zu ihrem Leben lassen sich allerdings nicht finden.
