Porträt Elisabeth "Lili" Parthey (1800-1829), Autorin. Tochter des Hofrates Friedrich Parthey, Bruder Gustav Partheys. Lili ist als Wickelkind mit Porträtkopf dargestellt. Neben dem Titel "Lilly Parthey" und einem Vers unter dem Bild, ist der linke Rand der Zeichnung mit einem großen und einem kleinen "W" versehen. - nachträglich mit einem Kreuz hinter Titel/Namen versehen [Bildunterschrift] Gar niedlich ist das Wikkel Kind/ Die Wetterfahne dreht der Wind.Biografisches Elisabeth (Lili) Parthey (1800–1829) ist vor allem als Autorin bekannt. Sie war die Tochter von Friedrich Parthey (1745–1822) und die Enkelin des Buchhändlers und Verlegers Friedrich Nicolai (1733–1811). 1825 heiratete sie den Komponisten Bernhard Klein (1793–1832) und gebar zwei Töchter, Clara (1826–1839) und Elisabeth (1) (1828–1899). Sie starb mit knapp 29 Jahren in Frankfurt am Main und hinterließ einige Tagebücher, die 1926 von ihrem Enkel Bernhard Lepsius herausgegeben wurden. Zusammen mit den „Jugenderinnerungen“ ihres Bruders Gustav gewähren sie einen Einblick in das bildungsbürgerliche Leben Berlins von 1814 bis 1829. (2) In seinen „Jugenderinnerungen“ beschreibt Gustav Parthey seine Schwester als eine Frau mit anziehender Kraft, seelenvollen Augen und schöner Stimme. (3) „Seine Schwester Lilli (Elisabeth) theilte alle Vortheile seiner äußeren Lage, war aber so verschieden von ihm, daß Niemand sie für Geschwister gehalten hätte; sie war nicht groß, schlank und voll zugleich, rosig blühend; ihr kleines Gesicht mit runden Kinderwangen ward ganz von ihren glänzenden, sprechenden Augen beherrscht, die das Bild ihrer glanzvollen Seele und ihres hellen Verstandes waren.“ (Emilie von Binzer, Drei Sommer in Löbichau, S. 91) 1 Lepsius, Bernhard (Hrsg.): Lili Parthey.
