Porträt Charlotte Wilhelmine Parthey (1779-1861), geb. Eichmann, Tochter des preußischen Geheimen Finanzrates Johann Wilhelm Eichmann, zweite Frau Friedrich Partheys. Parthey ist als Taube mit Porträtkopf dargestellt. Neben dem Titel "Hofräthin Parthey" und einem Vers unter dem Bild, ist der linke Rand der Zeichnung mit einem großen und einem kleinen "T" versehen. - nachträglich mit einem Kreuz hinter Titel/Namen versehen [Bildunterschrift] Seht hier die Taube sanft und zart/ Wie oft hat Heut die Thür geknarrt.Biografisches Charlotte Wilhelmine Parthey (1779–1861), eine geborene Eichmann, Tochter des preußischen Geheimen Finanzrates Johann Wilhelm Eichmann (1747–1829), war die zweite Frau Friedrich Partheys (1745–1822). Sie hatte in erster Ehe den dritten Sohn des Berliner Buchhändlers Nicolai (1733–1811), David Nicolai, geheiratet. Dieser starb allerdings unerwartet 1804 nach einem Jagdunfall. Nach dem frühen Tod ihres Mannes verkehrte Charlotte oft im Hause Nicolai und vermählte sich 1806 mit ihrem Schwager Friedrich Parthey. Ein Jahr später kam ihr gemeinsamer Sohn Moritz Pancratius (1807–1872) zur Welt. In Gustav Partheys „Jugenderinnerungen“ beschreibt der Stiefsohn „Mutter Lottchen“ als Frau, die wegen ihrer „unbeschreiblichen Sanftmuth und Herzensgüte“ bei den Kindern sehr beliebt war. (1) Friedrich Parthey schlug die Ehe nach Gustavs Beschreibungen erst nach Einwilligung der Kinder vor. Lili Parthey überbrachte ihrer neuen Stiefmutter sogleich die frohe Nachricht vom Heiratsantrag. (2) „[…] die Hofräthin war ein kleines, zierliches Frauchen, die Welcker treffend als Taube abbildete; sie war Gustav’s und Lilli’s Stiefmutter, mit aller Zärtlichkeit einer rechten, hatte aber noch mit Parthey einen eigenen Sohn, der Moritz hieß, damals unerwachsen war und unermüdet Klavier spielte.“ (Emilie von Binzer, Drei Sommer in Löbichau, S. 92) 1 Parthey, Gustav: Jugenderinnerungen, Band I, Berlin 1907, S. 9–14. 2 Ebd., S. 14. |
