English: Invasive projections are rich in F-actin. UM cell (OCM-1A) with F-tractin-labeled actin filaments intercalating between ECs in a monolayer. F-actin-rich protrusions are seen transiently probe the space under the monolayer. The UM cell completes intercalation and maintains contact with adjacent ECs. Scale bar = 20 µm. Frames were collected at a rate of one per 12 sec. The movies play at a rate of 15 frames per sec. |
