Description

New Orleans: Second Ursulines Convent complex. This was located in the 9th Ward between Poland Avenue and Sisters Street, and was demolished in the 1910s for the construction of the Industrial Canal.

I believe the view is from the Mississippi River levee front with the old River Road in foreground.

Date Not dated. Photo c. 1900- 1905.
