English: Ultrasonic leakage detection with acoustic camera CRYSOUND CRY2623
A long range detection of a process gas leak from a reciprocating compressor. The fault detection is fast, precise even under normal operating conditions: with the loud ( 100+ dB) noise generated by both a centrifugal and a reciprocating compressor. The physical effects like leakage, friction, partial discharge creates ultrasound. The ultrasound could be detect by ultrasound testers or could be visualize the source of them with acoustic camera. The acoustic imaging provides more effective and precise source identification and localization. Air / Gas / Liquid Leakage is created when gas or liquid flows through a hole, slot, etc. in an unplanned way, moving from a higher pressure space to a lower pressure space, which results in irreversible material and / or energy losses. Partial Discharge is an electrical discharge that occurs across a localized area of the insulation between two conducting electrodes, without completely bridging the gap (see IEC 60270). Partial Discharge can happen at any point in the insulation system, where the electric field strength exceeds the breakdown strength of that portion of the insulating material. Ultrasonic leakage detection, compressed air leak detection, flammable CH / toxic gas detection with Acoustic Camera, Energy Efficiency Directive 2015 EU, ISO 50001 Energy Efficiency Management, Partial discharge / corona discharge / surface discharge detection |
