Note Matching negative: NINO F Scholten Judee 3: 02.Dating includes the entire period Frank Scholten was in the Middle East. The negative belonging to this photographic print was annotated with "Judée III". Aqir was a village close to Ramleh. The village was depopulated on May 6th 1948 during Operation Barak by the Givati Brigade. Today it is the lcoation of Kiryat Ekron.
