Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Tugu Pagoda Wates berdiri pada 23 Desember 1931. Bangunan ini merupakan ucapan terima kasih warga etnis Tionghoa kepada Paku Alam VII, sekaligus menjadi peringatan 25 tahun bertahtanya sang penguasa Adikarta dan 100 tahun usia kabupaten. Tugu Pagoda Wates merupakan representasi hubungan baik antara kelompok etnis Tionghoa dan Jawa. Pembangunan tugu ini sejatinya berkaitan dengan perkembangan dan pembangunan Kota Wates. Paku Alam VI yang mengawali pembangunannya dan mendapat dukungan penuh dari para warga diaspora Tionghoa kala itu.
