TJ. S. Government Buildings, International Exhibition. AND PHILADELPHIA. 91 Advice to Visitors to the Centennial. Go. By all means go. And take allthe children who are over twelve yearsold. For it is not a mere show. It is aschool, a wonderful school. It does notgive all the advantages of foreign travel, for it does not show you the country, northe people. But, on the other hand, youmay learn more in a wreek of the produc-tions and industries of all nations thanyou would be likely to learn in a yearstrip around the world. You cannot affordit ? You cannot afford to stay at home.Wear an old dress for another season, turn your carpets once more, even giveup your cigars for a year or two—but byall means go. Plan to stay at least a week. You cancome away sooner if you see it all, or gettired. It will take a day—and a busyday, merely to see what the Exhibitionis. The rest of the time can be profitablyspent in the study of details. Get roomsand breakfast or breakfast and supper.Do not pay
