Summary
[edit]DescriptionTramway alongside Bankhead Drive (geograph 3505946).jpg |
English: The view west along the under construction Edinburgh Trams line. This will be the section between Bankhead tram stop (west) and Saughton tram stop (east) - on the left is Bankhead Drive, and up ahead is the rise to the bridge over South Gyle Access just before Bankhead stop. This section was formerly part of the western end of the West Edinburgh Busway - the bridge is a new build for the tramway - the busway previously stopped before it, rejoining traffic at a junction with Bankhead Drive somewhere just after the bus stop. |
