English: A depiction of the tomb of Clarice de Bolleit at the parish church of St Buryans, ornamented in Anglo-Norman written in the Anglicana gothic script reading "Clarice, the wife of Geoffrey de Bolleit lies here. God have mercy on her soul [and those] who pray for her soul shall have ten days' pardon" (

), from the figures decorating the margins of Moll's map of "Cornwal" (Cornwall), the third in his Set of Fifty New and Correct Maps of England and Wales...

The inscription in the engraving itself is mangled due to poor earlier transcriptions of the tomb and, presumably, Moll's unfamiliarity with Anglican gothic. See Blight's "Cornish Churches" (1862).
